Paul Wilcoxson Passed Away Paul has been a valued member of the church for many years and will be greatly missed. He served his Lord well & faithfully. Thank you to all who were able to come and honor Paul. Thank you to the kitchen staff for another wonderful meal to share as we remembered Paul. Services will be here at the church on Wednesday 19th Visitation at 1 pm, Service at 2 pm, lunch here to follow. Flowers @ the HBC after 9 am Wed. EGLE, which was DEQ a State of Michigan Department, told those affected by the Du-Wel Metal Products contamination that we may also be contaminated with PFAS as well. A Bible believing church...
At first it might sound strange that a church calls out Bible believing as a distinctive, but these days not all churches take scripture seriously. We believe that the scripture is inspired by the God that created the universe as He describes in Genesis. That He takes joy in declaring the end from the beginning to demonstrate that He alone is God. It is through God's word that we learn how to be right with God, namely through His son Jesus. At Hartford Bible (Federated) Church we confidently declare that Jesus is Lord and that there is no salvation outside of the righteousness He provides freely through faith. As believers, we meet in the building pictured above to encouraged and be encouraged, to instruct and be instructed, to give and to receive. The Christian life is not about what we can get from God but rather, it is finding out what God has already given and receiving it with joy; it is with that joy we willing serve our Lord with the rest of our life. This local church is entering an exciting time. Our pastor is in his first year, and the people of the church desire to reach the community of Hartford with the gospel. If you desire to know what the Bible says, let me encourage you to come hear the Word of God taught and come see what it's like to be with forgiven people. As we get older we find more comfort in the words of Jesus, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Life is challenging. The Word of God tells us of God's promises that we lean on to lighten our load.
Thank you for visiting, our desire for the believer is for them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the non believer that they would know and receive the greatest thing God has done for them.
